See I certainly don't see doing an in-between-quel in a different era as any different than what they're doing now - the timeframe between the movies and TNG isn't any more new and exciting than that between ENT and TOS, and arguably more constricting.I agree with this
At this point I'm just looking for entertaining tv, and I'm a bit of an easy mark. But it isn't giving us anything new,
I almost thought it'd be better to give us a series between TOS films and TNG era, something in the time and era of the enterprise B, maybe more dealings with classic romulans, we never got a lot of them during TOS, they're kinda mysterious, woulda been cool to explore.
Maybe a future trek where we've entered into a whole other galaxy,
something new and exciting.
As for a series exploring a new galaxy doesn't seem that different to me from what we've already had - how would it be different to exploring our galaxy, in terms of the show itself? It will be space anomalies and planets of weird aliens with foreheads. They could do that in Discovery.
