Hey wouldn't it be cool and funny if there was a martian civilization but they are all cozy underground and just laugh every time a probe lands on the surface of a "dead world" because we are not able to look deep into the planet? As for the funny part what if one day they start trolling us by walking past the probe camera or something maybe doing hand signs or maybe holding up placards in Martian.
