I think it meant $300 million worldwide total...
7 million is a pretty good number.
That's good. The showings here were only 2/3 to 3/4 full on Thursday.
They are surmising at WOKJ that because half of the showings were Imax, teh receipts are going to be higher because of the higher cost of the tickets.
That doesn't make sense. There are only 138 IMAX screens. That is more like 5% of all showings.
I'm still thinking this is going to make $100 mil this weekend.
It really depends on how front-loaded this movie might be.

Actually, that's not quite correct. It looks like Thursday is going be closer to 3.5-4 million. The $7million number includes midnight showings. Any midnight showings or later will be moved to Friday's total when all is said and done.

Boxofficemojo. One of the insiders (notfabio) is extrapolating numbers based on his theater chain's performance last night.
But a number of people on that board were pointing out that he had over-predicted Pirates AWE and Indiana Jones' Thursday night numbers the last couple of years because he had included midnight (and later) screenings for Thursday, instead of Friday like Paramount will do when the final numbers come out.
