Apparently the Mirror universe also went PC.100 year difference

I don’t think calling her Empress diminishes her. It was just done to hide the reveal, even if everyone knew it was going to be her.

The kept the masculin names in her other titles though, even after she was revealed.Apparently the Mirror universe also went PC.

Calling her "Empress" doesn't diminish her at all. It's just silly and unnecessary. Why do we need a variation of the word "Emperor" in order to denote the wearer's gender? If "Emperor", which carries no gender connotation, is good enough for a man, why would it not also be adequate for a woman?Apparently the Mirror universe also went PC.

Unquestionably my favorite of Emperor Georgiou's many titles. I still think it's some kind of in-joke which she enjoys every time she hears it.Except ‘Mother (o)f the Fatherland’
You could say the same about "king". What do we need the word "queen" for?Calling her "Empress" doesn't diminish her at all. It's just silly and unnecessary. erm...If "Emperor", which carries no gender connotation
For the Hell of it, I think we should assume Queen and Empress as a default instead of King and Emperor.
