How many times.....?

Three times from start to finish since getting the DVD, and that doesn't count the deleted scenes, documentary material and other bonus stuff on the second disc.:techman:

I cannot watch the same movie over and over every day, not even Star Trek. I have managed to watch it 3 or 4 times since I received my DVD in mid-October. For me that is ALOT!

I don't know how you can count DVD watching anyway. It's like snacking. I have it on my iPhone, and I catch bits of it all the time that way, too. I saw it 21 times at the theater, and that's a real number, IMO.

Twice. Once without the commentary, once with. Same for the deleted scenes.

3 times since I bought the Bluray, but hell about 20 since I got bootleg about a month ago. Oh and once from the free digital version just to watch the quality.

I have never had that problem (Hell Seen most of the episodes of any Trek anywhere between 6-100 times, obviously TOS watched more as been watching it since the 60's. But hell there are episodes of Enterprise that I have watched over 30 times.

This brings my total viewings up to 9 (5 times in theaters, a record for me, and once on a torrent)

I sat down and watched it 16 times in IMAX. Watching it at home is snacking, even all the way through.

Well, good for you. I just can't watch the same story over and over. I would either get incredibly bored or incredibly frustrated. It doesn't matter how much I love the movie.

The commentary wasn't as badass as I hoped it would be, but then I've noticed that most commentary tracks on recent TREK discs are a smidge lacking in the kind of presentation and content I tend to prefer. It was still really good for the most part though.

I have watched it at least ten times now, including the theatrical viewings, and I have watched all the Blu-Ray (three disc edition) special features twice!

I have no problem watching the same movie (or show) many times over. For me, it is like "comfort food". When i am down i pop in TOS or a movie.

I also have to have something playing all the time, thanks to tinnitus...so either i have music playing (classical) or i have (usually) a star trek movie playing in the background.

And i never get bored or frustrated with either. To each his own!
