Hot as H - E - Double hockeysticks!

78 degrees... Why do I live in the desert?! WHYYY!

That's not bad at all, actually.
Yeah, ESPECIALLY for a desert!

Exactly! Just trying to dislodge the popular idea that central New Mexico is like a furnace. It's soo not. It's wonderful. Mountains everywhere. Never getting lost because you can look up and see the mountains at the edge of town guiding you wherever you need to go. Being a mile up is fun.

I'd rather be a mile away from the beach. :p

I get cranky when it gets above 65F, and I'm just insufferable if it's in the 90s. Yet for some reason, I remain here. I need ways to convince my husband to move north. Far, far north.

We got a cool front that came through, so the high today was only 95. It felt downright cold since it was 103 a few days ago. High humidity though.

I've got another foggy morning here. It seems like it's been foggy, misty, rainy, cloudy, et cetera, just about every day for weeks....

These days it's been very hot here in Milan, but not unpleasant.
32C max, 20C min, about 60% humidity. We have seen worse.

Another broiling hot and muggy day.

Wore my white suit to work in a largely futile effort to stay cool.

It's nearly 10 at night and I have the door and windows open as well as a fan on full whack. And it's still fecking hot.

After lots and lots of days in the 90s, today it was randomly in the 60s. First day in weeks that I was able to turn off my A/C.

Must be in the 80s now. Too hot to bask ~ why don't I know someone with a pool :scream:

Now you need the real air conditioner milady..

to me, 80F is a little warm..but not hot..

Portable air conditioners don't work unless you install them properly in such a way that the hot air can't just come back inside. Hanging the pipe out the window doesn't work.

And if you do install them, they cease to be portable.

1) What's the weather like right now where you live?

Hot--as in high 90s every day. And I'm LOVING it.

2) What kind of weather do you prefer? Why?
Hot weather!!!

I have the heat retention of a Cardassian. Put me outside in the heat and I feel great. Bring me indoors with an air conditioner that's really going and I'm miserable. I have been known to literally not notice air conditioning failures in the height of the summer. This has happened on 4 separate occasions that I'm aware of, and in each instance I was perfectly comfortable and had NO idea until the people around me were about to drop dead.

I don't know who here remembers the "heat tolerance" thread, but statistically--I'm apparently in the "barely human" range!

:cardie: <--- (Self-portrait? ;) )
