Beautiful day today. 70's but with soft rain changing to sun. Put the air-con on tonight (ok it's a fan, but in Britain that equals AC ) and have replaced the duvet with just a sheet. I love this weather

I remember one Summer it got to 80F and the roads to Lowestoft were crammed with folks escaping the heat at the seaside..I had an American spec car with air conditioning..and actually felt a bit cold as I drove to the base, bypassing all those poor hot souls in the non-A/C equipped cars..
and a fan at night felt cold as well..( but just to let you know, my apartment A/C is set for 78 and that seems nice to me)

i am in tennessee and we hit our july weather during mid june.
in the 90' s sometimes the upper 90's but our nights have been several times unusually hot by staying in the 80's during a good part of the night.
interesting enough the heat wave will break going into july for awhile.
worse we didnt have a lot of time to adjust to the heat since we had gone through almost constant rain until this all started.

Weather is normal in SC. About 95 and high humidity. Just regular ol' Summer shorts and t-shirt weather.

I love it when the weather guy calls it a cooling trend when the temps are going to drop to the lower 90s

I am British and refuse to moan about the weather
Just come in for a martini and a quick cool in front of the fan then back out for more basking!

I don't think many uk cars have a/c, well maybe new ones, but mine doesn't, hence to walk to the shops today rather than the 'cook in a tin can' thing

It's about late 70s here and I'm going back out...

Well, the recent heat-wave up here has finally broken.

It's still very humid, but the temperature has dropped dramatically, to 18C (64-65F).

The long-term forecast says a high this week of 23C (73-74F).

Now that is more like it. It's still a little warm, for my tastes, but you won't hear any complaints from me.

It's pretty hot & humid over here (by UK standards) - high twenties, approaching the thirties and humid enough to trigger some afternoon rain and occasional thunderstorms. The rest of the week is forecast to heat up even further.

Today was annoying as I had a clinic in a part of the building with no aircon, just one of those evaporator fan things. The morning was fine, but by the early afternoon, it was getting uncomfortably hot. Fortunately a couple of patients didn't turn up, so I could have a little siesta during the worst of the heat...
