Heroes: Your Thoughts?

But everything imagable is thrown at them ini the third season

A less positive spin on that is that they threw everything against the wall to see what would stick...which was definitely how the show was feeling for me by Season 3.

I'm on 3X12 Our Father and Claire asks are you Hiro?

She never met him before half-way through the third season?! :wtf:

Except Hiro's brief part in Kirby Plaza in How To You Stop And Exploding Man? no they hadn't meet before.

I liked S2-3 a lot but my big complaint was that they finally all meet at the end of S1... and then all just go their separate ways again. I wanted to see them living and working together as a super team. Interacting with each other. Helping each other.

To me, that's not what the show is about, it's about ordinary people with extraordinary abilities trying to live their lives with their powers. Following the various characters and the non-linear way of the storytelling are hallmarks of the series.

I thought constant reset buttons and nerfing the characters' powers were the hallmarks of the series ;) ;) ;)

The biggest head-scratchers were when they were approaching the end game to defeat the bad guy and would need help, so Mohinder and Tracy would show up, help them out of a jam, and then just leave.

"Good luck saving the world, I've got tickets to Wicked."

In preparation for the return I've been watching Season Three Villains. I still think this was the high point of the series. We actually had a strong competent central villain with a bunch of lackey bad guys. Daphne was a great addition to the cast. The only bits that were a little silly were Sylar becoming a good guy and Hiro becoming a ten year old, but at least it changes things up a little.

Why didn't people like the Villains arc?

I liked the Villains arc. I liked all of Season 3, for the most part. It had a X-Men vibe for me.
