Reminds me of 1977..my girlfriend's father ran the local theater when Star Wars came out..on the second weekend, we both caught the early show and stayed in the theater watching Star Wars until the final showing was ended...

I was incoherent for 2 days afterwards... kind of like withdrawal symptoms..

Reminds me of 1977..my girlfriend's father ran the local theater when Star Wars came out..on the second weekend, we both caught the early show and stayed in the theater watching Star Wars until the final showing was ended...

I was incoherent for 2 days afterwards... kind of like withdrawal symptoms..

It is very remiscent of my 1977 movie-going experience, too. I saw it in the theater about 20 times, at a time when I had an entry-level job. Priorities.

This just proves that the movie was good Trek...when we want/need to see it multiple times like this that's the marker.

I saw it on May 7, and already had the IMAX May 8 ticket anyway, but going that second time did not, at all, feel as though I was doing it because I had a ticket.

It was a pleasure to go that second time.

I'm already thinking of going again tomorrow night, even though I'm going with some of my family on Saturday afternoon!

(Or, since I'm the only one here in work on Friday, a long lunch to the theatre across the road!)
