If you want to get Amway pitched to you, they're generally in the phone book. But believe you me, that's a door that you may find difficult to get closed when you open it. Nearly takes a restraining order.

It's in the process of changing back now. I'm fine with hearing about Amway, probably because I can just say, if I join it'll be in my Dad's organization, but mainly because it's a lot like joining Costco or Sam's club.
It's all the half-ass Amway clones that I hate hearing about... the ones that sort of copy Amway's structure but have only one product.

Its generally an extended family member or friend who does the pitching. I last heard of them about 7 years ago when they were Quixtar. The frind who pitched to me bought the product when she was pitched in church. About 4 years ago one of the MLM clones selling greating cards pitched the members of my home church. As we are a small congeregation he moved on to a larger church.
A family friend used to pitch us back when I was a kid in the 70s. My parents used to try to figure out how they could avoid the old faternity brother's visit.

I, too, was pitched heavily in church. Never outside of church, but repeatedly in church.

Amway Corp, the selling scam, not the products, has been banned in my State for several decades. No more Amway Parties.

Do you mean the motivational meetings where the diamonds pump up all the downline troops to pitch to all of their facebook friends so you can be rich like them? Oh and sell salesmen notebooks and motivational materials to those hoping to be rich.

Utah makes sense, it is our most religiously exclusive state. Since the Amway covention/seminar normally has a non-denominational chapel service for all those recruited from church. I know I can't enter a Mormon Temple under ordinary circumstances. Do the LDS have an obligation to attend Saturday or Sunday like a Catholic has to go to Mass or be a sinner?
