I really enjoyed the last two episodes, so this show has become must watch for me. All shows have soap opera elements. There's not a single show out there where somebody doesn't love somebody who loves somebody else.

Yeah everyone loves someone but the writers make it so blatant and hit us over the head with it, that the scifi elements get lost in the lesbian kissing, like it was said before if i wanted to watch a soap i would, when i think of stargate i dont think lesbian kissing, children born out of wedlock, jealous husbands and angry 20 somethings drinking and mad about ex's sleeping with their best friends.

Actually I think the Lesbian kiss was a good example of the bad writing.
Not because of two women kissing, but because they had a chance to explore the ethical side of taking over someone's body and using it for your own up to and including same-sex relationships. Instead, nada, zip, zero.

Answer me this...
So are you saying that a guy kissing a girl is fine, but a girl kissing another girl is wrong and shouldn't be in the show? Both kisses aren't they? Both between two people who are attracted/in love aren't they?
I think the writers must have watched TNGs Heart of Glory and bought into the ideal of the body being an empty shell to do anything at all they wish to do with it.Oh you misunderstood, instead of making it ethical dilemma or poignant to furthering the story it seemed very forced and soapy...and the American Military would never let these types of situations happen, coming back to have sex with the wife in another mans body, having an airwoman engage in relations with another woman, officer striking another officer...im ranting.. but they have to put some limitations on the stone trips because it is getting unbelievable and is hurting the writers credibility

Why does homosexuality have to involve an 'ethical dilemma' exactly? Kudos to the writers for treating it like a normal, healthy relationship. Of course on the other hand, showing it as such a healthy one makes it a tad less interesting, but that's another discussion.
And by the way, Wray isn't military.

here we go again....i mean as in using another persons body for sexual relations of ANY KIND...
My assumption is that the owners of the 'receiving' bodies signed off on whatever non-dangerous thing you'd do. Did we need a scene where they did that? I'll say no.
All of which explains why it was only a young Airman available and not some old scientist ready to study Destiny when Col Young needed a fit body to beat down Col Telford. Seriously though I bet the writers did believe the body is just an empty shell and were shocked when people started talking about the rapes of Telford and the Master Sergeant Camile Wray used to have sex with.
