Green Lantern on HBOMax

Five years younger than me. Doesn't look like he's nearly 60, though.
I just checked and he was born in '65 which makes him 60 next year. This would work in universe if Hal has spent most of his career in space with the rarest of appearances on Earth.

It also works if the DCU being set up is similar to the one immediately post-Crisis, where Superman showed up in a world already populated by superheroes.

I've been enjoying watching Kyle Chandler since Early Edition and loved him in Friday Night Lights so... wow. This instantly catapults me to wanting to see a lot more of Hal.

I know that announcing the directors for a tv show isn’t generally as exciting as casting announcements but Slow Horses is one of the most entertaining shows of the last decade, so the news that one of its directors is to direct the first few episodes of this show is very welcome to me:

His name didn't jump out at me, but I've watched almost all the shows mentioned in the article and they've all been good to great, so I'm sure he's at least a competent director.
