Fog + Mutants + Nicole de Boer.
Hard for any show to go wrong with that combo.

Although I agree with the comments about Sheppard not knowing anything about the all-female team. That was just silly. As military leader of Atlantis, shouldn't it be his job to know who's who among his SG teams?![]()
So what was the point of Captain Alicia Vega hype being a recurring character throughout the season. Pointless death, pointless hype...did she want to leave or something after not enjoying her 1st episode or something.
I think they did it so they thought us fans would think she was not going to die but in my case i did not know who she was till people pointed it out on here i thought she was just a red shirt hired for the dayThis episode so needed RONAN with all the action

It's the Sci-Fi dream episode: Stargate + Hot Chicks with Guns + Saturday Night "Sci-Fi Original Picture". Though it felt like Gratuitous Carson.Nicole de Boer is still looking quite good in her late thirties. I don't even know how to rate this silly show anymore, it was a change of pace at any rate.

first off, i'm not sure sheppard needs to memorize the corresponding gender of all the thousands of base personnel. secondly, i think he was actually surprised that they were all attractive women.
but you can't say "No, I'm not surprised that you're all female. I'm surprised that you're all so hot" and not sound a bit skeezy.
he was covering for his shock at that by agreeing to Teldy's "you're surprised we're all female" suggestion.
i think his fist bump with Carson at the end of that scene was acknowledgment that they were both pleased with the physical appearance of the people they'd been sent to help.
We'd have to be to still be watching with the amount of bad episodes these last 2 years.I voted Poor.
Sheppard's reaction to the all-female team was pathetic and totally out of character. However, it was made worse by the "I was asked to pick the best and the brightest" line. This episode might have gotten an extra grade if they had just not mentioned it.
Those of us still watching this show are Stargate fans. We don't need to be convinced that women can be tough. We spent ten years watching Samantha Carter. We KNOW!
According to Joseph Mallozzi's blog, the reason Vega got killed off is because they thought that fans would be more shocked at her being killed, rather than one of the other team members who have been less hyped up.

No, we just get more annoyed that a hyped up character is killed on her 2nd apperance.
