^I did say a "chance". You've got to admit, Stargate does like to raid other Sci-Fi shows for actors.

Oh, hell, I've referred to the 'gates as the "Wayward Home for Out Of Work Genre Actors" for years now.

I would however question TPTB's decision to not have any/many advanced races in the galaxy. It makes for far more boring storylines when every week it's either: a) standard generic villagers, b) the wraith, or c) the replicators.
Well if Elizabeth's comments in "Ghost in the Machine" and the alternate universe aliens are anything to go by, TPTB seem to be trying to remedy this. Whether the results are any good remains to be seen.

Except now the series is canceled, so we'll never see it.... They just took to long to get to that point, 5 seasons in.....

Well the Asgard on SG1 was something of a crutch at times and not having a super powered race on hand to fix things solved that problem.

I really enjoyed the episode. It was suitably creepy, with the zombies and fog. It was really great seeing Nicole deBoer again, and while Sgt. Dusty rubbed me the wrong way initially, she became quite amusing in the end. Christinan Cox was good too, and it was weird that alleged new recurring character Vega was killed off before she had a chance to recur all that much. :D Overall the episode wasn't all that Stargate-y, but still enjoyable anyway.

So I finally watched this. Well, sort of as I got half way through and then erased it. Boring. I really don't have the will to watch the next few episodes, I'm afraid. Very depressing as I used to be such a fan.

Average, like others have pointed out, Sheperd should have known the team was all women.

I was expecting a lot more red shirt casulties.

And why was Shepards team just him and Beckett?

Seems like a shoot em up episode would have been just perfect for Ronin.

Another Picardoless episode, why do they bother hiring these people and then not use them?
