I think this time of year can be really difficult for some people, whether because of personal loss, bad memories, not celebrating the holidays, whatever. So let's have some good things in this thread! They can be traditions or memories related to this time of year or anything else. Things that you're grateful for, things you're looking forward to next year, etc. No negativity! Or, minimal negativity anyway.
I'm grateful to still have my entire family in good health and good spirits. We've been going through a lot of difficult things and undoubtedly will in the future, but right now there is no crisis and I'm so grateful for that. My own health has improved as well and that's no small thing. I'm also excited about my future. I've been doing far better in classes than I expected and I should finish up a degree in June. I also love the family I have with my husband and cat. Some of you guys may remember me starting a thread around this time last year about getting a cat .... well we did and I couldn't adore him more!
Lastly, while I don't love all the people here all the time, I am grateful to know most of you. I don't always comment on everyone's posts, I might need to disappear every now and again, but you all add something to this board and I've learned a lot from you. No one goes ignored in Misc., at least not by me.
Anyone else have cheery thoughts on their own lives, or a cheery message for the rest of us?
