Was this in a TFO with other players or a single player mission, because in a tfo with other players you will also get team boosts from others in the team if they have team boosting buffs or traits on.

There is also the situation where certain combat zones lower everyone's level from the max 65 to something down in the 40's (or up to the 40's if they're newer players) to do play-balancing. If you're at a higher level and get downgraded in one of those zones, it's possible the weapons might be auto-nerfed. It's been a long time, can't remember clearly. I have so many upgrades and endeavor boosts now, it doesn't really matter for me anymore if something gets lowered temporarily.

So, I've googled it, and it seems that being in an active space map, sector space, or ground map makes a lot of difference to the stats being shown.
I'm keeping an eye on it but I think it's what you're both saying as well.

Everything in this game has a base line of stats, which you will see when outside combat, but once in combat the stats become dynamic, with a 1000 in 1 things impacting and affecting them from second to second for good or bad, and i sometimes think a university degree in quantum mathematics is required to understand them all. lol

I've got some base knowledge on QD. I think this game's dynamics are sometimes harder.

And the stats dropped again.... I am so confused.

Depends what map you're on - if you're in sector space or a ground map, any boosts from your captain's traits or BOFFs won't show up. Head to the space area around ESD or New Romulus or Defera to check actual "combat" stats.

Yeah, I noticed this. But thank you for confirming that, makes me feel easier about it.

So, every now and then I'll take a Phoenix Price pack and this morning I got an Ultra Rare token.
There's some good stuff in there but I have no clue what would really be a good choice. Any recommendattions?
Otherwise I can go exchange them for Rare token and get Phoenix Tech Upgrades which are a great way to quickly upgrade your gear.

Grab the Cochran shotgun as it is great for all ground combat, its secondary fire will send enemies flying across the floor, its fire will bypass all shields, but more importantly, on Borg ground they can't adapt to it, so have at them..............BUT!!!!, if you keep it until you save up another 4, then on the same store you could exchange 5 for one T6 ship upgrade, this option appears on said store through the year many times............but never waste the ultra on turning into a tech upgrade, only use the common ones for that.

Oh and as for rare tokens, if you get 3 of them, then grab the prolonged phaser 3 piece set, as this set is the the only thing on the the Phoenix store that is account wide, so you can reclaim it for free on any other toons you make.

^^^^It was a great borg killer, then they nerfed its kenetic damage back in 20223 so the borg adapt to it, BUT!!! if you equip the 3 piece elite hazard team set, and go into aim mode, every weapon you use in your other hand becomes unadaptable by the borg, including the tommy gun, so Cryptic taketh away, and then Cryptic giveth back. lol

Yeah the 3 piece hazard sets 3rd perk is that when you aim, your weapons become unadaptable by the borg, and it works with your second off hand weapon, no matter the weapon, just as long as you are in aim stance, it is my go to setup for just wrecking the ground borg, and making your second weapon the Herald anti proton staff just wrecks everything on the ground. ha

I've never had the Borg adapt to the machine gun. When I get a kill 60 Borg Mission it's my go-to weapon because it always works and you don't have to remodulate it ever.

Off-hand stuff is interesting because they don't advertise it, but set bonuses work even if the set weapon is in your off-hand slot. Use the Nakuhl shield and weapon from Temporal Reckoning for the 2pc (the 3pc isn't worth it) to get a great boost to your ground crit chance (the shield is great anyway).

Shame it doesn't work for environment suits if you aren't wearing them.

So for some reason the transwarp system isn't working. I was in the DQ, wanted to do the Daily Deferi stuff for some dilithium, and couldn't transwarp to the AQ. I could click everything, but nothing happened. Went the the Dyson Sphere to go to the GQ, still no transwarp. Finally made my way to the AQ via other means, but this is the second time this happened in the last week or two.
