i wonder if we'll ever see the Iconians in live action
It would almost surprise me if we didn't at some point along the way.
I'm guessing based off the little info we know
Sela in that universe is in starfleet, which may mean she would have never pissed off the Iconians in the past, making them not want to conquer the Galaxy in the 'present'.
I'm curious why she's in Starfleet. I'm guessing the night Tasha tried to escape, Sela didn't cry out alerting the guards. Or maybe this Sela grew up resenting her father instead of her mother and ran away on her own when she was old enough

They aren't factions, you can just play as the race in another faction.
I had held out hope for a long time that they turn the True Way into a playable faction rather than the straight Dominion faction. Would have been more flexible, giving you Cardassians and Jem' Hadar to choose from, and they could have made a way for it make sense to be Vorta as well in that context.

My original is a Vulcan, who I always had in my head as from the Mirror Universe. It eventually became a whole story about being from the 29th century MU after the whole plot with Leeta. My idea was the 29th Century Terran Empire had actually reformed to being tolerant of aliens, but Terran purists were helping Leeta to change the past and alter the Empire to be more like the old Empire, so Stevis is basically loyal to the Empire... by fighting the Empire, but then gets stranded in the 25th century Prime(ish) universe.

For my Bolian modern officer, I have the starting Miranda, a constitution II class and the Stargazer from PIC.
They wanted to make Borg Cubes more of a threat. They haven't removed ALL Borg Cubes, they're just a bit more rare to see and act as like boss enemies.
Rather than blasting Cubes out of the skies in waves, we blast less capable Borg ships out of the skies.
Fair enough. I've been redoing the old episodes with a Delta recruit and the two Borg episodes have no Cubes anymore.
Borg Cubes in STO that appear are all the 'Tougher' Tactical Borg Cube now. The old 'normal' Cubes have been replaced with Assimilators.
Everyone doing the latest 20 day event, as the rewards are fantastic.
Looking forward to this when it pops up. Xbox is lagging behind, as always. It’s currently still on the Tholian missions, followed by a week of Red Alert. Maybe after that…
This year we are getting some really good rewrds, at the end of these two events you will be sitting with 2000 lobi, 1 Prem T6 starship token, 1 epic pheonix token, and 2 T6 zen store tokens.....and all the extra dil you can grab before the events finish.......quite a haul. 
That's not entirely true. There are normal Cubes that appear, they're just much less common.
Ok today i just finished the 20 day event with the 1 phoenix epic token,500 lobi, a torpedo and some shuttle cosmetic, BUT!!!, and here is the good part, the PP epic token can be claimed once on ever toon you have or make, so you can own every PP T6 event ships across all your toons......and it is not a mistake, this is the intended reward, which is great, because i have one toon who is for DPS, and the rest are just for fun and dil to zen grind........so this is great, a nice surprise indeed.
I wish there was just... more in the Phoenix pack ships. I had most of them anyway, and the ones I don't have... I don't particularly care about?
Although I won't knock Cryptic on a reward like that being an account unlock. That is pretty awesome. I just with the Phoenix boxes... and Lobi... weren't pretty much abandoned.

I am enjoying these new ships, a nice little bonus for some events ships i missed from way back.
So I logged back in for the first time in months. I saw that the summer event starts in a few days. I might try and claim that ship, as would be the first in several years that I have gone for it. Summer event is much easier than the winter event.
Today is the start of the summer event, so don't miss out on a free T6 account wide ship.
