Garrett Wang joins Star Trek Axanar.

She does have a certain sort of woman-in-authority-strict-governess appeal to her. And she treats Tom and Harry and B'Elanna like disobedient children half the time (and they let her).

Kate Mulgrew is an attractive woman but was hired to provide credible acting ballast to mostly inexperienced cast not to be eyecandy.

No, Kate was hired because the old woman they actually wanted ran screaming pulling at her hair after three days and never came back.

Genevieve is 13 years older than Mulgrew, so Mulgrew was too young, and looked way too young to play the role of Captain in the earlier scripts written for a gal pushing 60.

Well, yeah, that too but the point was, she wasn't hired to be oogled.

And yet her fandom of oogledom surpasses everyone else in that show by light years.

:D

I would argue Jeri Ryan (7 of 9) is as much or more objectified as a sex object by the show and most of its fans. Perhaps Jeri and Kate appeal to different types. To each their own.

No, the Janeway fandom is vastly bigger than 7's. 7 (and Chak) are basically in service to the Janeway fandom. I'm talking straight numbers here in fanfic, tumblr, fb and of course the tiny corner of fandom that is this bbs.

I thought a glaring omission in your list was in the TOS section, you didn't even mention Nichelle Nichols by name.

If you like old women, you can keep on fixating on the same old woman until you both die.

If you like young girls, you have to stop looking at their ass when they turn 23, and find a new 18 year old to satisfy your looking needs.

There is no exit criteria for perving at Mugrew because she has always been an old lady, and always will be an old lady.

Personally Like Tal Celest, but that's because of her work on Dirty, Sexy Money.

OH C'MON!

Yes, I knew Zoe is going to be a principle on NCIS New Orleans, but no I didn't know that she was in 60 episodes of JAG, but yes I knew NCIS is a spin off of JAG, but no I didn't know that she's not playing the same Character in JAG as NCIS New Orleans, which is a canon violation.

I hate canon violations.

(Bakula's accent borders on racist.)

Nichelle = Black hole?

It's funny how sometimes we accidentally saw awful things.

While Nichelle Nichols is beautiful, I think, at the time, Gene Roddenberry was more interested in showing her as a smart capable black woman who was fully accepted and respected throughout starfleet. My list was a list of eyecandy, that is, actresses hired or used at times to appeal to the "horny trekboy" demographic. Neither Nichols nor Mulgrew fit the "horny trekboy" demographic.

What's your interpretation of that completely naked fan dance in Final Frontier?

I feel that they were all also from the old show, and Gene was showing kindness, by handing out a wofty paycheck to his friends.

Was that why you could see her underwear when she opened hailing frequencies?

I think the gratuitous pantyshots were the film crews way of saying they didn't respect females in positions of responsibility and authority.

:lol: :guffaw: :lol: :guffaw: :lol:

Yeah, right. That's why she's seen often sprawled across her console during ship shaking scenes, displaying ample amounts of leg in every scene even if she has no dialogue, trying to flirt with Spock in an early episode, and wears a bare midriff outfit in "Mirror, Mirror". To show how smart and capable she was.

Nichelle = Black hole?
Those were teacake's words, don't try to pin it on me, and frankly I find your use of it in this context offensive.
