Garrett Wang joins Star Trek Axanar.

While Axanar worked tremendously well as a CG showcase/talking heads pseudo-documentary thing, I'm not sure making it into a traditional 90-minute movie will work. We'll see, I guess.

I ogled Janeway all the time, but Mulgrew's 4 years younger than me, putting her in acceptable lust range.

What level of ogling would Nigel Havers have rated if he had gotten the chair, do you suppose??? ;)

It was a question, not a statement.

Is Nigel boner-bait for the audience like Kate was boner-bait or the audience?

Also, would he have shagged his way across the Delta Quadrant?

(Kate had to tell them no romantic scripts, while Nigel wouldn't have thought it lessened him at all to be seen as a sexual icon, or an incredulous lech.)

Why? Do you ogle him? Do you wish he had gotten to be captain?

Well, as it happens, no to both of your rejoinders!!! The former because it's not my cup of...tea.. and the latter because of an incipient fear that in some preternatural kind of way, you or some fellow traveler, would have ultimately lacerated me for such a hope with a vituperation beyond mere words. Oh, and also because it would have likely rendered the show direly inconsequential and without much to even hang all the baying about its faults on, a real empty suit.

Though I have to admit, it would have been interesting to see if any of his holographic adventures would have involved something resembling track events, in speedos perhaps, with some bubbly to relax with afterwords.

Anyway, thanks for asking!!!! :techman:

The question is, will Wang be a Klingon with ridges or a smooth headed TOS Klingon? He's playing the first captain of the new D7 battlecruiser during a war with the Federation. His mission is the decimate the Federation fleet. This takes place in 2245...the year the USS Enterprise enters service.

I'm glad I won't have to fight Guy for Janeway, not that it would have been a problem as I totally would have owned him. But whatever, one more thing I don't have to worry about in this long and sometimes tedious life.

You might not have to fight Guy but I'm waiting in the wings... Or are we still on sharing terms?

Have you seen Prelude to Axanar?

(It's on youtube, which is how you are supposed to view it legally.)

Soval is in it, and we see a Klingon sans ridges.

Ipso facto Wang will be playing a TOS era Klingon.

From me? None, and that's not supposing anything, because I only ogle women.

She so strongly objected to my wanting Janeway, she ripped my metal cane out of my hands and beat me to death with it. That was a year ago, I think, I'm still missing some brain matter from it.
