Future of Paramount includes Star Trek tentpole

If it doesn't happen in an official capacity, you'll definitely see the Ent-A in action in an animation I'm working on.

It's not finished...but a teaser...

Thanks for the teaser - looks amazing!

:D

Looking very forward to seeing this!

Yeah, it took a while to get the ship "camera ready". I stripped the paint job off and heavily reworked it and the ship's lights. Hopefully this animation will be done within a week or so.

great work.

such a wonderful ship, i have a feeling it's going to sadly remain a "what if?".

Agree. I do hope we get to see this 1701-A in the next Star Trek film. I am looking forward to seeing the new interior sets, e.g., bridge.

Agreed, never really liked the interior in either 3 films. White walls w black floors didn't work for me anyways

Bridge was ok, just set up incorrectly and panes of glass should be off to sides

Hope to see 1701A kick arse

funny i always loved that they went with shiny black floors against stark white walls. and i love the use of red for the floor of the bridge. actually, i'm super fond of the kelvin enterprise, hands down. it's the only ship after the enterprise-D that felt like a place i'd want to live.

i liked what thomas sanders did to update the sets in star trek beyond, but sadly he passed, so i hope ryan church and scott chambliss are able to come back and give us an equally beautiful, but distinctly new enterprise-A. ...in that fantasy movie called star trek 4.

I never got much of the complains about the interior of the ship, besides the fact it doesn't look like tos and isn't as vintage 'dark'. But to be honest, I love the way the enterprise looks inside and I wish to see more of it. For me it was, just like Kaplans' uniforms (not so much the Beyond 'neoprene' uniforms that I still detest saved for Uhura's one that is at least cute), an upgrade.. the ship looks just more realistic and 'professional' to me as if it were real and not a 'set' (which honestly is the impression you get sometimes with old shows, it's a bit inevitable too).

Amazing work @PixelMagic ! Please keep it coming! :bolian:

imagine if Abrams/Paramount secretly working on Trek 4 (directed by someone else of course) all in secret like 10 Cloverfield (be one way of getting people excited for Trek 4)
