Ewww! What an opening!

Though it kinda is reminding me of the X-Files episode where the fast-food kid was eating brains

no kiddng. Rather gruesome, much moreso than most others have been.

Now we have Mr. PapayaHead!

Another Tuesday, another average episode of Fringe.

I did like Mr Papaya Head though. What did Walter say, the Papaya was the nicest fruit or something like that?

Did anyone NOT see ahead of time how Massive was behind this, taking Intrepus down a few notches? What I wonder is if the chief is able to put it together, or is he involved somehow? I recall a scene between him and Blair Brown's character at the end of aorund episode 2 or 3.

Well, I personally liked this episode a lot better than some of the other recent ones. I felt like the cast members seemed to have a lot more chemistry this time around. Dunham's character finally seemed at least somewhat interesting, and actually had the most to do this time around.

I wonder where they're going with evil card-giving stepdad. Maybe they can get Mitch Pileggi to play him. :)

Depending how long they drag it out, maybe John Scott will be the one who takes care of the stepdad issue.

Haven't watched this ep yet, my plans kinda got changed around with my mom being back in the hospital and Dad staying with us. Hopefully, I'll get to the tape today.

Did the Observer make another appearance?

Take care of the important stuff. Your tape will still be there later.

I don't recall seeing him

This episode was between "average" and "above average" for Fringe episode. Overall, I'm not terribly impressed and if it doesn't get better soon, I think this one will drop off my rotation pretty quickly.

Other than John Noble's character, there's really not much of real interest to me. Almost all of it's been done before and done better. That's too bad, I was really hoping JJ Abrhams had put together another "Lost" for us and this show is clearly not in the same galaxy as Lost.

It's a fairly generic show, but worth watching on a casual basis simply because most other shows suck right now. Also, Walter Bishop is pretty cool.

Yet another average... and the lead is still terribly uninteresting. I can't decide if its just poor writing, or if its poor acting as well.

Was I the only one strongly "reminded" of Maya's death-power from Heroes in the opening scene?

Is this the first episode where Walter didn't have a direct relationship to the nature of the mad science?

I have a feeling that just like lost that Fringe will lose its charm once it starts giving out answers like what is the pattern, Olivia'a father and the hatch

I haven't watched this one yet but to all those saying it isn't all that great like LOST:

Recall that LOST had a ton of boring episodes in the first season and often meandered about.

I was ammused becuse the opening event was told to take place in Milford, Ma, the town where i was born and raised, unforunatly nothing, the streets, the ploice uniform and cars, accually look like anything from the town. But they film in Canada so its understandable, just forund it amusing.

I'm still enjoying this show. Olivia is the draw for me and she continues to become more interesting. I am however a little bothered by how formulaic the episodes have been with Olivia rushing to stop something in the last 10 minutes.

Thank-you, I appreciate the thought.

Actually did get to view it tonight, and I thought it was pretty decent. Unlike many of you here, I've never watched Lost, so I don't have it as a measure rod to compare this show to. For me, I guess the show that most often comes to mind is X-Files.

It's not great, to be sure, but enjoyable enough that I keep coming back for it each week.
