The team is called in to investigate a bank robbery when one of the thieves is found embedded in a solid wall. Walter believes they're after something of his, but things take a turn for the worse when the thieves ambush one of them.

Great Episode to bad we won't get more for a while...

When does the season pick back up?

That sure was alot of work to get that guy out of prison... Wouldn't it have been easier to use the Phasing Device to get him out?

Did I read the van's license plate correctly? "1R2D21?"

Man, I get a kick out of Walter! :bolian:

And for the second week in a row, this episode is better than Hero's. I would have never dreamed such a thing possible at the beginning of the season, but Fringe is really starting to tighten things down and get to business.

Which, of course, on Fox means that like with Firefly, the show will canceled any day now. Americans have really crappy taste. (BTW, I'm an American).

So, my only question is why the crap did Dunham be such a wimp when she was getting attacked at the end? Pull the crap over, get your weapon out and start firing at those chasing you......that was the only part that seemed silly.

Beyond that, kudos to the writers for finally pulling Fringe out of mediocrity into something more..........

Excellent!

Best episode so far... Finally the show is starting to set out its own identity from the X-files clones. They are establishing a very interesting "universe" for the show.

(I missed a few episodes prior to this because of a TiVo scheduling conflict, grrr)

I think this may have been the best episode of the series. Fast paced, interesting sci fi tech, tying plot threads from different episodes together and Walter Bishop is the inventor of the transporter. Fringe is a prequel to Star Trek!!!

So how long do we have to wait before John Scott is resurrected?

Loved it, although did Fringe "jump the shark" with the transporter effect? That is, cross over into "that's impossible" territory while previously having at least a tenuous scientific theory to explain the near impossible?

Good episode. Perhaps in part due to them pretending to be in my home town of Westford. But Walter, the incredible genius he is, really makes the show.

I'll give it AA. :)

Do you think this show is finally coming together? The pacing and the plot points from previous episodes was really impressive.

Excellent episode. Fringe is really getting better and more interesting as the season moves forward.

Any idea when the next episode is ? Can't wait.

Any idea when the next episode is ? Can't wait.

Googling some random Fringe web site that may or may not be trustworthy when it comes to factual information, it says January 20.

It also says the renegade FBI agent friend of Broyles who stole Bishop's equipment, freed Hannibal Lecter wannabe and kidnapped Olivia might not be a bad guy.

Finally got around to this one. I enjoyed it.

Maybe I've just grown accustomed to the magic science, but this show really seems to be finding its legs. The characters certainly seem to be gelling in a way I didn't expect.
