What announcement? There has been no announcement. Just reports. There is a difference.
As I said the last time this came up in a different thread, I've never doubted that she was doing the show. But every press release announcing other cast members subsequent to those reports has included a list all officially announced cast members to date, and she's never been included in that list. That's not by accident. Personally, I think it's because her character is going to be killed off on The Walking Dead, and they have some sort of arrangement with the TWD people not to make it official until that happens. But the fact remains that the production has yet to confirm her involvement.
