Mage, there's so many strawmen in that response I won't even dignify this trash with a proper answer.

If you wish to debate what people say, fine. Don't make up things they didn't say then try to debate them on something that never happened.

Even the irony of you in a Star Trek forum, talking about Star Trek, complaining about it demonstrating a healthy future and being "done with it" if it it does what it's always done is baffling.
