Episode titles for S3 revealed...

The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail might just be one of the best titles in the Trek franchise ever.

And I look forward to the Peanut Gallery complaining about how unserious a title it is.

"New Life and New Civilizations" feels like a series finale title, which is interesting because, you know, it isn't.

Wait, what's left for a title?

Space, The Final Frontier. "These Are the Voyages" of the starship Enterprise. It's five-year/continuing/ongoing mission, to explore "Strange New World(s)", to seek out "New Life and New Civilzations," to boldly go "Where No Man/One Has Gone Before."

Guess the plot

Hegemony, Part II
Easy one. Tying up Part I. Will Batel live?
Wedding Bell Blues
A marriage episode. But who? Pike and Batel? Some sort of "Elaan of Troyius"/"Perfect Mate" situation?
Shuttle to Kenfori
Bottle type show set on a shuttle? Disparate group in some sort of peril?
A Space Adventure Hour
Gotta be the retrofuture thing.
Through the Lens of Time
Time travel. or something like "Living Witness"?
The Sehlat Who Ate its Tail
Sounds like a fairy tale, parable or fable. Someone is going to learn a lesson.
What is Starfleet?
Time to defend and define Starfleet and it's mission. Pike speech guaranteed
Four-And-A-Half-Vulcans
Comedy jokes.
Terrarium
Trelane captures our crew for his own entertainment.
New Life and New Civilizations
Could a First Contact situation. Cliffhanger for the Season Four opener "Too Boldly Go"?

Based on the information we already have about the episodes in this season, here are my best guesses which episode might be which …
  1. Hegemony, Part II
  2. Wedding Bell Blues → Roger Korby shows up / rom com
  3. Shuttle to Kenfori → Could be the one with Klingon zombies. “Kenfori” could be a reference to Ken Foree from the classic Dawn of the Dead.
  4. A Space Adventure Hour → Holodeck Murder Mystery (according to TrekCore)
  5. Through the Lens of Time
  6. The Sehlat Who Ate its Tail
  7. What is Starfleet? → Retro Sci-Fi Setting; maybe also the episode with the Federation Centenary?
  8. Four-And-A-Half-Vulcans → Everybody turns Vulcan
  9. Terrarium
  10. New Life and New Civilizations
The ones I can’t yet place are the ones featuring Trelane, the one where they are using wire telephones on the Enterprise and the documentary style episode.

I assumed “Wedding Bell Blues” would be about Chapel and Korby, thought episode 2 is a little fast.
I don’t remember where I read that, but there’s a rumor that there will be a time jump after the first episode. That could maybe account for the time Chapel spent off the ship and met Korby. Not sure if that’s how it will play out, but it’s a possibility.

Uhura's hair would indicate a time jump, but Voyager did establish the hair follicle growth can be stimulated and accelerated.

I didn’t remember anything about a “documentary style episode”, oops. But if that’s happening, then surely, “What is Starfleet?” would be a good candidate for it?

I can't wait for the upcoming episodes "Space", "Of The Starship Enterprise", "Continuing Mission", "To Explore", "To Seek Out", and "To Boldly Go".

Actually, some of those wouldn't be too bad.

I'll take 'em over "Anomaly" (Star Trek: Enterprise) and "Anomaly" (Star Trek: Discovery)!
