The planet's monarch is experiencing the latest in a series of rebirths, in which their biology morphs into a new young form and continues the royal line. Something is wrong, and the supposedly immortal ruler may die, a fact which must be kept secret at all costs to forestall coup/outside takeover attempts. The kingdom's peace and security is dependent upon the ruler, who holds the planet in their hands figuratively, while Phlox holds his life in his hands, literally. Things escalate when the doctor is kidnapped before he can perform a lifesaving procedure, and is held captive until he reveals the secret. The crew of NX-01 have to locate him and guard the monarch, because treachery may be closer than they know.

Measuring Stick:
Stopping by Egrarvis 4, Trip is looking for new antimatter injectors, the old ones are constantly wearing down and needing replacement at a higher interval than he likes. A passing Tellerite ship informed the Enterprise of Egravis and that they are willing to sell higher technology to more primitive species, for a price. After decades of the Vulcans holding on to there toy's, this is a welcome change.

Trip finds a merchant that would trade with him, but Trip doesn't have a buyers permit, which he needs to get from the central government. So Trip goes to the "DMV" with Hoshi along to translate any forms. When they get there, there is only one form, an entry form for a race. The Egravi are degenerate gamblers, and they mostly bet on races with other species. And to get a trade license, they have to finish in the top 3 of the next race. So Trip and Mayweather sup up a Shuttle pod and enter, thou they have to be careful, as some species have been trying to get a license for quite awhile, and will go to great lengths to take out there competition.

Can the Sepreans have justice another way?

The Romulan war is 8 months old, Earth and the coalition has fended off most of the romulan fleet's attacks and there is a bit of a rest bit as each side regroups.

Taking advantage of the lull in the war, the Enterprise returns to Earth for some much needed repairs and rest. When they get home, Archer and Trip head over to the new docks being built over Mars Utopia Planetia that will build the plethora of new ships needed by Earth.

At the dock, they are shown around by one of the ships designers, Commander Jefferies. Trip stops to look at one of the new designs, Jefferies calls that ship the Cutlass class, a small frigate sized ship. Trip asks why there are so many different classes of ships being built here at Mars. Jefferies is a bit hesitant to talk about it, but mentions the admirals don't agree on what type of ships the fleet needs, scouts, frigates, dreadnoughts, and are okaying the construction of multiple prototypes and production vehicles.

Archer, looking at the half complete skeleton of the Monarch class, two times bigger than the NX, is incensed, and storms off to read the riot act to those admirals wasting time and materials building ships that are to complicated, advocates streamlining production of 1 class across multiple docks, the fleet needs numbers, many more ships, pushed out like the old liberty class freighters of WW2.

In the end, production focuses on 2 class of ship, the Daedalus, an all around destroyer designed by Commander Jefferies, and the more heavly armed Comet class designed by Commander Masao.

These are both great! @comradepitrovsky welcome to the game!

"Enterprise=MC^2"- NX-01 investigates five missing ships in the same sector and finds a scrapyard of disassembled crafts that have had pieces torn off of them. The crews are taking shelter in the most complete ship, and describe the attackers as having come back multiple times and scavenged more parts each time. NX-01 must avert an attack when they are spotted, and protect the other crews. The scavengers are fueling their ships with the parts (processing them for energy) and didn't know the crews were people - their scanners don't recognize humanoid life. Meanwhile, Phlox and Tucker help the other crews with repairs, medical and engineering.

"Purification"

The Enteprise is heading to the Miozuno system to pick up an Andorian ambassador as a favor to Shran as no Andorian ship is close by and the ambassador needs to get off the planet as fast as possible.

Entering orbit over Miozuno II the Enterprise comes under fire from the local self defense ships without warning, Archer tries to hail them but no one is responding, and he is forced to leave the system.

After contacting Shran, and informing him of the hostility, Shran says the Miozuno are usually a peaceful race, but every four years, the inhabitants enter the "Vorhelic" Miozunian for "Purification" in which every Miozunian has a moulting phase, in which they grow into another Miozunian phase. During this time, they allow no off worlder to interfere with the Vorhelic. The ambasador was trying to get off world in time, but the ship meant to get him was attacked by pirates and was hoping the Enterpise would get there before the Phase begun. Any off worlder found to be on the planet is killed as the Miozuno's moulting is very valuable in the Orion market.

Now Archer has to re enter the system in the Cloaked Cell ship and mount a rescue mission on the planet for the ambassador before he is killed.

The thieves are in hot pursuit of her. Archer and T'Pol pose as her parents and face the scrutiny of the system, as well as curious looks because of her odd appearance. (No cosmetic surgery for T'Pol because it's advantageous that she resembles the child.)

"Be-heh-h'kat a-niib"

The Klingon transport ship Tilka enters orbit around Mintoka II, home to a Klingon "Retreat" but is really an gulag for Klingons that they can't readily kill, some like 3rd in line for there houses, others that have came back from battle without honor. Others they might need some day, but don't want around today.

Among them is Sho'Riq, a disgraced general that had the nerve to retreat from a Romulan incursion 20 years ago. A brilliant general that instead of dying with honor, chose to save his fleet to fight another day.

Sho'Riq belives that today will be like any other day, breakfast of barely alive Gah, watered down blood wine, and no activities to speak of. However, today on board the Tilka, Trip and Reed, acting with section 31, are on the ship to break out the general, so they can interogate him about his encounters with the Romulans so they can prepare for the upcoming war.

Also, abord the Enterprise, Hoshi is studying the Romulan language with T'Pol, to gleen any more information.
