There is nothing creepier than waking up in the middle of the night and looking over to find your dog sitting at the side of your bed, in the dark, staring at you.

Ouch. Usually in this thread I'd side with the dog, but in this case I sympathize with the poor cat.

Careful editing does not show the cat's prior actions which provoked the head-dunk. Nor do we see just how fast the big dog skedaddled out of there.

We had a German Shepard who would do the rounds of the house at night and make sure that everyone was okay
