I've come to the realization that Gracie appears to be afraid of the dark. We usually go on our walks early, before the sun comes up in the winter, and she's a lot jumpier than usual. If she steps on a stick or leaf or anything like that, she jumps about 2 feet up and a foot over, and she's constantly staring off into the dark.
