For me this has been the biggest cliff-hanger since BOBWI. At least we don't have all summer to wait for the resolution. Remember where you were when you saw this, it'll not be the same for the folks who come after us and can just slip in the next episode on dvd in months and years to come! :techman:

Another below average episode. The inconsistency was even worse than several others from this year. First, who the hell cares about Daleks anymore, they bore me. I was waiting for a clever twist, like, the Daleks being trapped TOGETHER with other worlds so they were attacking out of habit, at the last moment the real vilains behind it, (e.g. the Master) come up "surprise, Daleks, go back to your cage, you're also trapped with the planets", tsk tsk, but why don't they listen to me, they keep making silly scripts. And if that wasn't enough, they also spam the episode with Torchwood and that other Series that I never watched. Who are those people, I don't know them, I don't care, I don't know what they're doing, boring. And wtf with the regenaration again, are they going to change him? but I heard he has contracts for next year too, what's going on. And that old companion, what a bore, not only she was irritating, she's also getting old and doesn't fit with Tenant, and what's wrong with her teeth anyway.

:wtf:

^ Man, wish you hadn't said that, 'cause all I can hear now is:

"KNOBBLED FOR YOUR PLEA-SURE! KNOBBLED! KNOBBLLLEEEDDD!!"

Found this while looking at tardis.wikia

Episode Twelve of Series Four, The Stolen Earth has received a record breaking Audience Appreciation figure of 91. This is not only the highest score the programme has ever received, but is one of the highest figures ever achieved for a mainstream television programme.

Now, I go to bed.

Did anyone ever try to get through to the UNIT website and type buffalo into it to see how far into the words atomic arsenal they could get?
I did. There was a stupid thing that allowed you to launch missiles that I didn't find impressive or even interesting.
I did like some of the mission files they had on the site. There was one that talked about The Doctor returning and having changed again. There was another file on Rose.

The site is still there

They did change the password though. They changed it to bison. However, with Firefox I'm able to go into the secure login section without a password.

Does anyone watch The Big Questions on the BBC Who website? I've only just discovered it for the last two episodes. Tennant's ribbing of Catherine not know who Davros is, is very funny, and her thoughts on missed opportunities are quite interesting, too.

I discovered them around Silence in the Library. Catherine and David definitely seem to have a good relationship, and Catherine's fantasy of being on West Wing seems to keep cropping up.

Loved the Sarah Jane bits up until she froze like a deer in headlights in front of two Daleks that she should have bloody well known were going to be watching the streets with a curfew in place. That was the only real :wtf: moment of her storyline for me.

"Run over them, you stupid cow!" quoth I.

I guess she needed K-9 there to tell her "We are in a car"

That's a point. Where was K-9?

Considering Tennant gave Sarah Jane a nice new repaired K-9 in the previous series, I thought our old friend could've been used in the episode, or at least made an appearance.

Didn't someone mention he was in someone's particle accelerator managing a black hole?
Yes. In SJA he's only made 2 appearances. They have him off doing just what you said. Not sure if it's a particle accelerator though. I would have to rewatch "Invasion of The Bane" to be sure.
I thought Sarah Jane might open the door to get him out to help. I'm kind of glad she didn't.

For the love of stopwatches, why in the hell were Ianto and Gwen firing machine guns at the Daleks when they're surrounded by frickin' ALIEN TECHNOLOGY?!

I guess Jack took the only BFG in the joint.

(Loved the episode overall, of course, and I'm looking forward to the finale. I missed the Torchwood team more than I thought, so it was a bonus to see them there - I've been avoiding spoilers, so I didn't know they'd have such a prominent role in the episode.)
