Do You Miss Anyone From Here?

I am not sure what happened but there are members I miss who no longer come here.

(Keep in mind this is not the place to bash anyone)

Maybe people know more about why they aren't here...

I miss Anna1. I wish she still came here.

And in a strange way I miss Storm Rucker...but I know where he is.

When threads like this come up there's never anyone that comes to mind, and I rarely recognize names that other people post. But every now and then something will trigger a memory, or someone will mention a name and I'll think, hmm, what happened to that person? I wish he/she posted more.

That's about it though, there's no one in particular.

Alot of people come & go...I have been on and off here...when I was a Commie it was a really good time and some are still here.

Some people I "knew" back in the day I genuinely miss and wonder where they are and if they're okay; others...well, it doesn't really bother me that I don't see their usernames around here any more. That's life, I suppose.

The two I probably miss most - Red77 and BlackDog - I "see" at LiveJournal so that's not so bad, but there are others I haven't seen in ages who kinda just disappeared - like Blue, Froggie, da Woim, SeanDC, blingawa (who hasn't been sighted, as far as I know, since hurricane Katrina), among others whose usernames I can't immediately recall, and it would be nice to know if they're still alive. People like Jen and kitkat (to name just two) need to show up more often.

There are plenty of others, I'm sure, but they're just a few that spring to mind whenever these sorts of threads appear.

Sometimes I think people disappeared, but then I look in their profile and realize that they just don't post in the same parts of the forum as I do anymore (or at least lately). It just reminds me of how big this forum is with its many sections. There are probably a lot of people in the "Miscellaneous" section for example that post on TrekBBS frequently, yet I've never communicated with them, because I rarely post in here.

And I miss blablover5. I think she swings through from time to time but not enough for my tastes. Her crazy stories and mad experiments were always VERY entertaining.

I'm not good at names, but there are quite a few people I miss around here, Mainly from the DS9 board when the DVDs were coming out in 2003 (I believe). That was a fun year around here, especially because DS9 was new to so many people.
