Looks fun though I find it distracting that the elf(?) looks like Bart Simpson.
I'll give you the nose but he's got the clothes (red shirt, blue shorts), height, spiky hair...Looks more like Chief Wiggum, to me. At least the nose does.
Normally, I would agree but the fact that Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein are the showrunners keep my interest up. Jointly, they wrote some great episode for The Simpsons back when it was actually good and a collection of good to great episode for Futurama during the Comedy Central years, while on their own, Weinstein worked on Gravity Falls (a brilliant show that all nerds should watch) and Oakley worked on Portlandia (I haven't watched it myself but I've heard nothing but great things about the show). Plus, they've confirmed that David X. Cohen of Futurama fame is also involved on this show.Matt Groening has said things that has put me off his new material.
What has Groening said? That looks really unfunny.
Even if it was funny, I still wouldn't watch it; much like Joss Whedon's diarrhea of the brain online, Matt Groening has said things that has put me off his new material. Not to mention the crap Netflix has done.
He was tone deaf in his dismissal of Hari Kondabolu's documentary, The Problem with Apu, going as far as saying that the documentary has tainted the character. What has Groening said?
Ah, I figured it was probably related to Apu, but I hadn't seen any comments directly from him.He was tone deaf in his dismissal of Hari Kondabolu's documentary, The Problem with Apu, going as far as saying that the documentary has tainted the character.
