Live Action Voltron movie starring Henry Cavill has already finished production!

You're seriously overestimating how famous it is in the "Western World." If anyone in the non-US "Western World" has heard of it, it's thanks to the Netflix remake.
I've been to several non-US western countries in the 80s and 90s and most people my age there had fondness for Voltron and Robotech.

I wanted to be inclusive and took a guess. I don't know how popular it is in Europe but I know people in Latin America are familiar with it and watched it when they were younger. If I had guessed the word Americas, then I'm sure somebody would have posted "we saw it here too."

Why? There have been plenty of good straight to streaming video's.

They're have also been plenty of bad one. Im guessing this is going to look bad. A science fiction film with great effects needs a big screen to show them off. Im betting the effects are terrible. I hope im wrong.

Most of Prime Video’s action and fantasy movies have good visual effects because they’re made with huge budgets. But the movies themselves usually aren’t that good, and this probably won’t be either.

Quite right. If amazon had confidence in the movie they would market it and release it in theaters. Instead they changed their mind and its going to stream. My hopes have dimmed.
