I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to hand in your geek card, as the font used is of course the one used on countless Star Trek comics and annuals from the past. I actually think it’s a charming nod.

It’s called “Trek Disruptor Blast” here, but I doubt that’s its actual name. My guess would be that some Gold Key comic artist or graphic designer drew that logo font by hand and someone years later (probably a fan) went ahead and turned it into an actual typeset.
