I know this has probably been discussed to death, but I'm particularly dense this evening and can't seem to find it.
When Impossible Astronaut aired on BBC America and Space, the opening credits were preceded by a very US-style "My name is Amy Pond..." intro setting the scene for the series. It appears to have been a one-off as it wasn't on Day of the Moon. I know it raised a few eyebrows as being somewhat out of character for the series.
My question is - was this indeed only seen in North America, or was it also seen in the UK? I've been getting mixed messages and I myself have made the statement in a forum that it was only seen in North America - but now I'm not so certain.
So a quick yay or nay, I guess - did the UK see it?
At this point I'd include a YouTube link or something for anyone going "what's he on about" but the only online version I can find that has this intro is the streaming version on the Space channel's website, but is useless to folks in the UK. (I could track down a download of the episode, but I don't want to waste time downloading what might just end up being the US or Canadian version).
If it was a North America-only thing at first, I'd be curious to see if Australia and New Zealand get that version too, and if the intro might be included on the DVD later for the benefit of UK viewers...
