Anyone playing? I know the reviewers trashed it for a poor launch (that wasn't Stardock's fault) but it's an amazing hybrid game. They're also doing a free DLC pack that's comparable in content size to other games' packs.

My room mate was playing it for a while but it looked pretty boring to me and he gave up on it after a week or two so I was never really tempted.

I'm interested in the concept because I've never played a DOTA-like game, but given that it's primarily multiplayer, I don't think I'd have a chance to try it.

The skirmish mode is surprisingly fun. I'd hold out for a demo that's coming soon.
