No we saw Datak grabbing Yewll's hand and rubbing it up and down his groin until she said "do you want me to check you for lumps" in her caustic voice and then he stopped. Or, I suspect, deflated.
There was that, and later, she's just got his hand down his pants jerking it, nonplussed, while he's talking about his escape and triumphant return to Defiance.
I have no memory of that. Perhaps that is what you wanted to see?

I was going to point out Amanda's traitorous assistant from the pilot also had one, but that's probably a bad example given he was in league with the Volge.
Is there a reason Volge weapons can't be available on the black market? After all, plenty should have been up for grabs after the Volge army was defeated at Defiance in the pilot.
They used a WMD disintegration weapon? Overclocking the fence with a power cell from a ship. Anyone that wasn't disintegrated, ran like ####. I doubt there was much loot.

Well, what it probably came down to is that the props people probably just pulled it out since it looks alien and cool and no one really put any thought into the implications behind someone carrying that particular gun. You know, shit that's been going on on TV for years.
