DEFIANCE Season 3

During the first chat, Darla and Wolf were deeply suspicious, one of them was "You have a ship, a working ship?"

OH!

Is this a new expansion for the game?

Are we three months behind or three months ahead of the game?

Okay, I get "Darla," but who is "Wolf"?

Grant Bolwer played the dad (Wolfgang) to a family of white trash, low end criminals in the New Zealand dramedy Outrageous Fortune.

The Sheriff from Banshee, Antony Starr, played Wolf's two identical twin sons remarkably by himself.

It all happened a long time ago, and a long way away.

...You had to be there. :)

Ah. I see.

I admit I tend to think of Julie Benz as "Rita," not "Darla."

Rita was chum from the get go.

The external semblance of his unassimilatable innocence.

I'm Just happy that her kids made without the other end without being fed into a wood chipper.

Apparently, has very active forums. Never got around to checking it out, there was always some computer thing going on that prevented me and then I would forget. People on reddit are asking for the codes etc.. that get tweeted during the show and apply to the game.

I am kind of upset about the McCawleycaust as it's being called on tumblr. I wish they had left us Rafe at least, that guy was so great with the Tarrs.

I loved how these eps were all in the snow. Very atmospheric.

Were they punishing Christie for doing a couple episodes of Once Upon a time?

"If we can't have you, no one can!"

Do you think there will be lots of flashback scenes of them in captivity?

Pottinger isn't on the website, so it seems we won't be seeing how he left.

I like time jumps but the character arcs were for Christie and Rafe, Alak is just a lump who stares in shock at things.

If you want to see Pottinger as a (younger) sexy dinosaur hunter, the English version of Primeval has Niles doing a fair impression of Ace Rimmer.

It was kind of surprised when Irisa was so pissed that Nolan shot the guy who's son was killed Kindzi killed. Usually she'd be the first one to let the knives fly. I wonder if the whole Kaziri thing is going to end up taming her a bit.

Irisa is still traumatized and guilt-ridden over killing Tommy (and destroying New York City). Remember, she couldn't bring herself to shoot that Casti spy earlier in the premiere--and almost got killed as a result.

Her guilty conscience has got her tied up in knots and unable to cope with more deaths and violence. Can she still bring herself to use lethal force if necessary? I suspect this is going to be be an issue as the season plays out . ..

So, how soon before Nolan wants his old job back (again)? And what is Berlin going to say about that?

If it's about stopping armies instead of criminals, then Nolan might want to think about becoming a General, rather than a sheriff.

If Mrs. Rafe hadn't dragged Christie and Alack out of Defiance, her family would still be alive. But she has successfully destroyed her family by her selfish and crazy actions. i don't have much hope for baby Luke. I am guessing that Alack will stop being such a naive boy and finally become tougher....actually more like his mother. She has the guts to do whatever it takes to survive. She is fascinating to watch.

So far by not killing Pilar as soon he was on his own with her he has failed. Still trusting her with the baby, still dependent on someone stronger than him to help him survive in the world.

My biggest fear is that Luke will end up being a magic baby that is needed for some big savior deal. I dislike magic babies very much.

Well, based on dialog in the episode he's not the first castithan/human child.

I actually don't think we'll see Pilar or the baby again.

But he had magic baby eyes that were not revealed until the very almost end!

Oh I'm sure we'll see them. Linda Hamilton is too larger than life to just drop.
