Spoilers DC's Stargirl: Season 3

I'm pretty disappointed that we didn't see further consequences for Starman as well. As for the titular character, this show has really become an ensemble--Courtney may have top billing but the other characters have really stepped forward.

Starman is the Big Bad this Season.

He's going to get revenge for the Deaths of the JSA over Courtney's shattered bloodied body.

I think MR Bones is the big bad this season
I know Bones from later in his timeline as leading/Belonging to the DEO or Checkmate.

Sylvester just blew up a Supermarket.

That's 5 million dollars worth of property damage.

The Super Cops should show up and start registering powers before someone gets injured.

I had actually forgotten about Mr Bones being introduced last season. Yeah, Sylvester's destructive public behaviour certainly would be a chance to pick up on that story thread.

That would be kind of crazy. Unlike the Arrowverse there's a tonal shift between the shows but crossovers are generally fun if they don't interrupt the main shows too much.

Describing any potential appearance from Earth-9 versions of Courtney and the JSA or a potential return appearance from the Earth-9 version of the Doom Patrol as being a crossover between Titans, Stargirl, and Doom Patrol constitutes false and misleading advertising.

Nah it's just called speculation.

I forgot that Titans had a previous Doom Patrol appearance. I don't think it was meant to be a different team but there were some differences between that DP and in the series that followed.

Even if the casts and sets were used to portray Titanverse versions of the same characters I don't think it's that out of bounds to describe that as a crossover. I don't know that there is a term that better describes it in a quick shorthand manner and I doubt it was meant to be deceptive.

It wasn't at the time that the Titans episode "Doom Patrol" was filmed, but when the Doom Patrol series went into production, the showrunners decided to completely separate it from Titans in spite of actor carryover.

Nah it's just called speculation.

Any appearance on Titans by the casts of Stargirl or Doom Patrol would not automatically constitute a crossover between the three series, making the article in question's claim to the contrary both false and misleading.

The reuse of actors does not in and of itself constitute a crossover.

Oh, also, little nod to the themes of this season, the movie posters at the theater are for Nathaniel Dusk, a noir-ish PI character DC published in the 80s and referrenced in Geoff John's Doomsday Clock.
Thanks! That was tickling the back of my brain but not landing anywhere.

As to the mystery at hand... Rebecca Sharpe was in the comics as a member of the ISA called Hazard, so we could easily see her attached to Helix/Mr. Bones. Especially since the Gambler was murdered after he set up the search for his daughter on his laptop.

Alternatively (or maybe at the same time), I had forgotten but Dragon King was using the Wizard's dead body for experiments. Perhaps a new Solomon Grundy there? Given the grunting figure watched the CCTV screens, it could be a more intelligent version that still has the strength to rip apart a trailer.

What's in Gambler's file about Dragon King that Cindy wants anyway? Yes, DK was her father, but it seems to me like she took the laptop to search for something specific.

Oh, and what the hell are Cameron's nasty old grandparents up to? I've been thinking they are actually frost giants - maybe they killed the Gambler?

I love a good mystery! :D
