Static was created in the comics
Which makes Zeta a good candidate. As an android with a holographic disguise, Zeta could look like anyone and doesn't need a costume.
Static is someone that should be on the Black Vulcan TV show as a protege of the title character.
The new series and character is called "Black Lightning". Black Vulcan was created for Super Friends because there was ownership disputes with D.C. Comics and Black Lightning creator Tony Isabella. So he was cheap knockoff to get around that. It's only very recently that all that has been settled.
Outside of nostalgia directly tied to the Super Friends cartoon I doubt the name Black Vulcan will ever be used now. Though I have read that he was shown in a recent comic cameo to exist on an Earth in the Multiverse.

That's Black Lightning. Lightning is electricity from the sky. Lightening is making something less dark or less heavy.
The original pilot version of NBC's Powerless included Wendy and Marvin in its cast. The final, aired version has a Wendy, but there's no indication that she's connected to the Super Friends character.

Transgendered isn't really the right way to say that. The Definition of transgender is "a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex."
John's kid was born male in this new reality, he wasn't a girl who transitioned to male after birth.

That's certainly true, but also, John Diggle, Jr. and Sara Diggle are two distinct individuals, not the same child. John Jr. was apparently born almost six weeks later than Sara; Sara's birthdate is given as October 8, 2014, the airdate of the episode where she was born, while John, Jr.'s second birthday was in an episode airing November 16, 2016. If anything, it might be later than that, because it was the episode before "Invasion!," and in-story references put the Dominator invasion a week before Christmas 2016.

I'm not clear on why the multiple Eobard Thawnes were attacking everybody except the person who was holding the Spear of Destiny (until the end, anyway). That was just weird.
It was also a bit strange that aberration Sara disappeared. Skeleton Zoom really should have killed her directly.
The next episode should be interesting. I guess it never occurred to Sara to use the Spear of Destiny to make sure their time travel paradoxes were fixed.

That was the season finale.
He only goes after speedster aberrations.
Okay, that ending puts the show even more out of sync with the continuity of the other shows. Yeah, they put Snart, Merlyn, and Darhk back in their rightful times, but then they broke history entirely. Although I guess it could be another pocket reality.
I'm selfishly glad that Amaya's sticking around, because she's gorgeous, but I'd think that almost dying (well, actually dying) would've driven home the importance of returning to 1942 and getting her life back on track for the sake of her descendants.
Theoretically, Ray, Nate, and the others were shielding her from the Thawnes. That doesn't make a lot of sense, given that from his perspective it's like having a bunch of mannequins between him and his target, but they did pay lip service to it.
The Black Flash only targets speedsters. He's an extension of the Speed Force.

I think however it will be defined next season they were thrown outside of normal time. I think it was Guggenheim who teased before tonight that a new "concept" would be introduced in the finale. A separate Pocket Universe might be the best solution for most of the complaints about the show. But that raises issues when the next big crossover of all the shows happens. CIsco probably can create a breach to there like a normal parallel Earth.
I see no reason to expect the whole season to be in such a pocket universe. It's a problem for the cliffhanger that they'll resolve in the premiere, similarly to the JSA-teaser cliffhanger last season. It'll probably be something like "Flashpoint" where they fix the timeline in the premiere but it has lasting ramifications through the season.
