Spoilers DC TV Arrow/Flash Universe Crossover Discussion

^Yeah, granted. And The Old Mixer's right that the ring seems to be in the Fortress of Solitude's display stand rather than on a hand as I'd thought.

So if the Legion ring has no future relevance to the Arrowverse and was just an Easter egg, that may increase the chances that the glimpse of the '90 Flash was just an Easter egg rather than a clue to an upcoming storyline.
I am still personally wondering/hoping that when the Man in the Mask is revealed, we will find that we've been dealing with Hunter Zolomon impersonating The Flash for so long that even Well's was fooled (or in on the whole thing because of Jessie, but it would be weird that he hasn't mentioned it yet, so its unlikely), and that no one knows the real appearance of the Earth 2 Flash, and the big reveal will be that Jay Garrick is played by John Wesley Shipp.

I'm actually expecting two sets of twins, however. But technically, all that has been really proven is that Zoom pointed out his Earth 1 doppleganger on the bench. Jay Garrick could still be anyone, with the twin story a cover for Zoom.

Kingdom Come (or some random future) with Linda Carter, Adam West (or Michael Keaton) and Dean Cain (or Tom Welling, since Superman should look young forever anyways) would be fun. Brave and the Bold did a flash forward like that, and it was awesome.

I hope the restrictions on the Big 3 end soon.

If you want to be really bold, watch the first few minutes of The Flash 2x18: "Versus Zoom" and stop it when he's running and disappears. Then watch all of Supergirl 1x18: "Worlds Finest". Then continue with the rest of The Flash 2x18. In "Versus Zoom", Barry is running while testing a device. He disappears for a second then re-appears. This takes place between 5:03 and 5:04. In that time, he had travelled to Supergirl's Earth and helped her defeat some bad guys.

[Edit] Oops! I meant to post this in Skywalker's thread.

I was going to put this in each of the threads for the related shows.
Then I remembered this one.
I don't think I've ever seen this before.

someone edited scenes of the Flash departure on his own series and arrival on Supergirl together. They added their own surprises on what he saw on his journey...

^I think most people tend to use "ever" in this context to mean "that there has ever been before" rather than "that there ever will be." Like "This is the best day ever!" It doesn't rule out the possibility of better days in the future.

I do hope the crossover event will be a four-part story that starts with Supergirl on Monday and concludes with Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday. It sounds like that's what they were originally planning anyway, except starting with The Flash.

Wasn't that pretty much how they handled the last couple Arrow/Flash crossovers? I don't see why this would be any different. It will probably just be a much, much bigger story.

It is.

This crossover also is the first multiversial DCW crossover. So, whether the universes will be merged or not, this will qualify as a "Crisis". Whether it's a "Crisis on Earth-1" or "Crisis on Earth-SG" remains to be seen.

Oh, of course, good point. Everyone associates "Crisis" with Crisis on Infinite Earths, but it's important to remember that that title was itself an homage to the original "Crisis on Earth-1/Crisis on Earth-2" team-up story in Justice League of America in the '60s (the first followup to "Flash of Two Worlds").

In Justice League of American 107, they introduced a device called the transmatter cube. This allowed travel between worlds at any time. Previously travel between worlds was only possible during the summer, when the barrires between worlds were at their weakest.

Perhaps someone develops a transmatter cube making crossovers between worlds a bit easier. Maybe someone from another Earth shares the blueprints with Earth-1 and Earth-SG somehow, because super help is needed.
