Some tidbits from the Sunday relaunch panel:
-Supergirl is being reintroduced again (we already know that) it was implied this is a totally new version and as her solicits described she won't be welcomed on Earth right away. The panel also stated that they would be playing around with how Krypontians are affected age wise by the Sun. Wait? What?
-Barbara will have her father as a supporting character in her book and Dick Grayson will be a major part of her life. Perhaps shippers will be happy?
-DiDio once again confirmed that Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain are part of the relaunch and repeated that Grant Morrison confirmed that Cass is still part of "Batman Inc" returning next year.

I still don't get what's up with the segmented armor style costumes for some of these costumes. It makes sense for people like Green Arrow or Batman but Superman shouldn't need segmented armor (that is what it appears to me). I love Bab's costume (we first saw the design as Allyn Gibson mentioned in Batman: The Return) and Jason Todd's redesigned Red Hood is awesome. Cosmic Boy's redesign I'm loving as well.

They claim that The Killing Joke still happened, so we can rule out the third option.
It's apparently a combination of 1 and 2. She's in physical therapy to regain use of her legs.
I want to think that I read somewhere that it was a straight-up rehabilitation. Of course, I'll bet we won't see that rehabilitation, because triumph over adversity is not nearly as interesting as incorrectly using cover while Samhain from The Real Ghostbusters chases you through a graveyard.

Apparently though Simone stated that Babs will be "younger" as well. So perhaps the nanotech somehow deages her a little. I'm not entirely sure how that part is supposed to work.
I'm sure the thicker, more sophisticated costumes we're seeing in superhero movies nowadays (or in shows like Smallville) has a lot to do with that. That's what today's audiences probably expect to see, and the simple tights and painted-on look we've been seeing since the 40s just isn't going to cut it anymore.

Well, as it turns out, Flash is no longer married. Comic creators really don't like marriage, do they?
^ Nope. It's really a gimmick and one they can't make work once they're stuck with it. Marriage ages the characters and according to the editorial staffs of both companies this isn't something that comic fans want to see their characters. Apparently all of us want to see them young and in their prime all the time.
I'm guessing the ending of "Flashpoint" messes with Barry and Iris's marriage since they're not married in that reality.

Also, comparing someone to JH Williams III? The Greeks called that hubris.
This sort of works, but I always thought that was one of things that made Flash charming--two-bit ultra-losers like Leonard Snart who got his hands on an absolute zero gun, and the only costume they could afford was a really ratty parka. That's why it was kinda satisfying to see him kick the Top's ass, for example.
On the other hand, all those portal-to-hell mirrors and transmutation guns did sort of strain credibility in a way that innate powers don't--like, it's believable that you can't just make everybody Superman, but you do start to question why there is no commercial weather control in a world where the Weather Wizard exists.

I really like most of those designs, although TBH I don't know who any of the non Gotham based or Super characters are.

Ah, that's what I figured. I should have known better, but in this thread, you can never be sure.
Indeed... although I'd find this assertion more believable if it were better-supported with evidence. What are the most successful superhero comic books of all time? Hint: they involve a lot of old people and falsified as well as real suicide.
