DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

1. Is that fan art or real?
2. So no STAR wars movie in 2021?

Dwayne Johnson posted that himself, and judging by the signature, it's by Jim Lee.
Oh okay then...

I still think it was stupid NOT to have Black Adam in Shazam... The story felt like it was originally for him...or even a Scorpion King type of long cameo, or end credits scene like Yellow Ring Sinestro.

This also feels like forever, and that the Rock will have a short shelf life with this role

Why do people care so much about the Snyder cut? That's like Star Wars fans banging on doors for Rian Johnson's cut of Last Jedi or Star Trek fans begging for more Brannon Braga.

Snyder's DC movies were absolutely terrible.

What we have already have looks more like it would have ended up as deleted scenes anyways

Who wants to see Clark roaming the halls of a Kryptonian ship?

It was reported the cut is over 3 hours long, so no, it's not just a few deleted scenes.

A lot of movies' initial cuts are really long. For instance, I seem to recall that Star Trek Nemesis's rough cut was something like 50 minutes longer than the final one. That's normal editorial practice -- you start out by putting in everything, then you decide what parts you don't need and trim it down.

From what I've heard, the so-called "Snyder cut" is just a very rough preliminary edit without completed VFX -- nothing like a finished, presentable movie.

Recently from Jason Momoa:
(source at about 12:50 minute mark)

MTV: So is that partially why when we spoke about a year ago and I brought up the Snyder Cut, you were like 'Fuck yeah, I need to see it'?

Jason Momoa: Yeah, absolutely. But I have seen it, so. I have seen the Snyder Cut, so...

MTV: So what does that mean? Because the effects aren't done. Like, you've seen his assemblage of footage and alternate takes, etc.?

Jason Momoa: Oh, you you think Zack couldn't finish it?

MTV: I don't know, you tell me.

Jason Momoa: I mean, listen, man. Next question.

MTV: Do you think we'll ever see it, do you think the public will ever see it? It seems like the groundswell has grown...

Jason Momoa: I think the public needs to see it. I'm obviously indebted to Warners and DC, and I don't know how they feel about it. As a fan, I'm very very happy that I got to see it.

MTV: Does it feel like a totally different movie than the Justice League that was released?

Jason Momoa: Yeah.

Sure sounds presentable enough to me...

I mean yeah, they'll probably wanna polish up a few rough ends here and there before actually publishing it in some form, but it doesn't sound like it's as far of from being completed as many think.

I’m torn on how I see Snyder’s apparent unwillingness to let this drop. Part of me thinks it’s a bit sad and that he really should move on. But part of me admires the fact that he clearly feels so passionately about it and still hopes to see his vision onscreen.
