Yeah, I have a feeling their costumes will be part of the joke about how inept they are.
With the guy in blue and yellow, quite possibly. But keep in mind that lighting, camera settings, and image processing are really important to how things look onscreen, so costumes and makeup often look far worse in candid outdoor shots like this than they do in the final product.
Also very true! Too many possibilities to write off anything from what we're seeing solely from these pics.

I've seen two things the actor was in (Cowboys & Aliens and Looper), but I don't have any specific memory of him. I'm just hoping we finally get a version of the Riddler who's a cool, calculating mastermind rather than a cackling goofball.

Interesting, the Riddler played a significant role in Snyder's Batman Year Zero story a few years back.
While I've seen most of the other movies mentioned, the only thing I actually remember Dano for is young Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy.
Scott Snyder, that is. Not the other Snyder.
