Those are nice posters. Is the ROTTEN tattoo along Harley jaw new? I don't remember her having that is Suicide Squad.
That was Tilda Swinton. Blanchette played Hela in Thor Ragnarok.Cate Blanchett as The Joker would be amazing, and the internet meltdown when the casting was announced would be spectacular.
People already lost their shit when she was cast The Ancient One in Dr. Strange, so I can't imagine what would happen if she got cast as The Joker.

It has DC universe references.^Isn't Luthor in a world without Superman basically just a Zuckerberg/Gates/Jobs/Musk stand-in? How would this be any different to a standard president movie?
I'll leave that to the filmmakers (assuming the rumor is true). After all, every character is individual, and ideally so is every story. You could as easily argue that Sherlock Holmes and Sam Spade are interchangeable, or that every narrative involving a detective is the same. It's the job of the screenwriter, actor, and director to devise a character and story that are distinctly and uniquely Luthor. And certainly the Lois Lane idea referenced above would be one way to give your "standard president movie" (is that really a genre?) a novel twist.Isn't Luthor in a world without Superman basically just a Zuckerberg/Gates/Jobs/Musk stand-in?
