DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

It could have been good if it was good? ;)

Points to you. :-) What I meant was that I like the source material. (Although it has been years since I've read it.) It's kind of like the Miller series on Netflix a few years back--source material was good, but the series wasn't. It is kind of funny to me that I feel the opposite way about The Boys.

Snyder keeps releasing photos from his DCEU days. First it was Cavill, now Manganiello. Is he trying to stir the pot?

Exactly. Sometimes we forget that these people are human beings too, and their actions aren't always dictated by some complicated 4D chess game they're engaged in.
I also read somewhere (maybe here) that Snyder and Gunn get along well and there are no hard feelings between the two. Whether you like their visions and interpretations of the characters, you can't say they are not fans of the DC universe. The comics have been around for nearly a century and the source material itself has gone through many iterations.

Yep. And at the end of the day, it's just a job. If you get involved beyond a certain point, it becomes problematic.

I don't know if the younger people here remember this, but Sean Young became embarrassing in her relentlessness to getting the role of Catwoman.

She was likely still sore (no pun intended) over having won and lost the role of Vicki Vale in the first movie.

I understand, but I'm pretty sure that doing so won't make your future career any easier. Any casting director would think twice before calling you for an audition.

David Zaslov admits that Warner Bros-Discovery is fielding "multiple offers" for a potential sale to hopefully be completed by 2026.

I knew it. That's the private equity game. Buy up a company, strip it for parts, sell off the wreckage for a quick profit.

Well, if it gets Zaslav out of the picture, maybe there's a silver lining. Maybe the new owners will actually release Batgirl.
