It's kind of like the Miller series on Netflix a few years back--source material was good, but the series wasn't. It is kind of funny to me that I feel the opposite way about The Boys.

I also read somewhere (maybe here) that Snyder and Gunn get along well and there are no hard feelings between the two. Whether you like their visions and interpretations of the characters, you can't say they are not fans of the DC universe. The comics have been around for nearly a century and the source material itself has gone through many iterations.

Yep. And at the end of the day, it's just a job. If you get involved beyond a certain point, it becomes problematic.

I don't know if the younger people here remember this, but Sean Young became embarrassing in her relentlessness to getting the role of Catwoman.
