Finally got around to seeing the third Swedish movie, and contrary to some of the critics, thought it was a terrific conclusion to the series.
I'm a big fan of Fincher's work, but I gotta say, I'm SO satisfied with the Swedish telling of it that I don't have much interest in seeing anyone else's. Fincher's version might be a bit more polished or arty, but there's still only so many ways you can tell the same story (and judging from the trailers, it doesn't vary that much).

I'm sorta in the same boat. I'm curious though, so I'll still see Fincher's, but I'll be comparing the entire time.
I still haven't seen the remake of Let the Right One In because of that.
It's not really a remake of the original film but a retelling of the same novel.
