Uh, well, I have had particularly intense sex dreams from time to time... even while regularly getting some. Not to say it was ever common but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility.

And yes, you can be compelled to pay child support even if you were raped. Support is an obligation owed the child and is completely separate from whatever relationship the parents have.

I can vouch for the latter. Great stuff not using condoms and being worry-free (of course you should be sure to have a trustworthy partner anyway re: STDs).

Heh, a case I heard about that was pretty fucked up had a husband and wife who had divorced, and I guess one time she told him that their child wasn't his (to hurt him, most likely). So he got a paternity test ordered and sure enough, kid wasn't his. He went to court to get his child support order vacated and the court refused, with the reasoning that the state could not, in the pursuit of justice, leave a child "fatherless." So he's stuck paying child support for a kid that isn't his and there's nothing he can do about it. Wish I had a link handy. I just remember reading about it a few years ago. Just another example of how child support law is a bit daft at times.
