If animals can get infected by humans , we need to watch out for our pets.
But also, can pets get infected from other animals outside, and then infect their owners? This could mean a lot more trouble.

A man who stands by his convictions:Now, as I understand it, it's not that Johnson's condition has worsened, but that he still shows symptoms ten days after testing positive.
I heard Boris Johnson is in ICU now. I hope he recovers.
Regarding the American order to stop the export of N95 masks to Canada, it's appalling for many different reasons.
CBC article said:Canadian ministers and officials have been trying to reverse the United States' decision to invoke the Defense Production Act to force Minnesota-based 3M to prioritize orders from the U.S. government for N95 respirators at the expense of foreign orders, including some from Canada.
Earlier today, U.S. President Donald Trump said he had reached an agreement with the company and was now "very proud to be dealing with 3M."
A statement from the company said it has struck a deal to import 166.5 million respirators into the U.S. over the next three months, primarily from its manufacturing facility in China.
"The plan will also enable 3M to continue sending U.S. produced respirators to Canada and Latin America, where 3M is the primary source of supply," the statement said.
ouchBoris johnson has just been moved into intensive care as his condition has worsened.
Regarding the American order to stop the export of N95 masks to Canada, it's appalling for many different reasons. This pandemic is worldwide, which requires a worldwide effort to combat it, each country waging its own battle against it. Canada is your closest ally, the kind that you will often come to to borrow sugar without asking anything in return. It seems that the President and his friends have short memories regarding what Canada has done for their country. During times of crisis and war, we've often stepped in and helped without so much as a word.
We've sent troops to die alongside U.S troops in Afghanistan, sent help to New Orleans after Katrina, not to mention numerous wildfires raging in California. But perhaps the most recent example of friendship and loyalty was during the 9/11 crisis. In a story that I feel every American should know, as told in the Broadway musical Come From Away, a little town called Gander in Newfoundland agreed to have 239 at-risk flights diverted to its small town. The influx of travelers overwhelmed the small town, but the town inhabitants went out of their way to make them feel welcome, feeding them out of their own pockets and hosting many of them in their homes, and not once did they ask for something in return. Many of these people formed long-lasting friendships, and I believe even some got married. I could go on with many other examples as those are the most recent, but I'll stop there.
With all Canada has done for its closest ally, it's more than a little disappointing. Yes, I get it, you need those masks. Guess what, as another country fighting equally as hard against this pandemic, we need them too! We're all in the same boat. To help you curve the spread, to prevent its spread across the border, it'd be nice to have a little help from our friends. Limiting the supply to other countries is not the way to do this. The irony? Canada supplies many of the materials needed to make these masks! Without these, without the trade of these important materials with your ally, the masks wouldn't get made. Canada has tried securing a shipment of three-million masks which was stopped at the border this weekend. You'd think it was a drug-running run. To be blocking much needed supplies during a worldwide pandemic is not just wrong, it sets out dangerous humanitarian implications.
One of the positive things to come out of all this is how it shows how utterly useless celebrities and athletes are and how ridiculous it is to pay them millions. They are the definition of non-essential.
