Are you suggesting that she's pretending to be in love with him...
I think she likes him, but love... no, I don't think she does
I've seen her reactions. She cares for him... but I don't think it's romantic love
True, maybe she hasn't allowed herself to fall in love with him, but you know she wants to!

And just because she can hide her feelings doesn't mean she doesn't still feel them.

But she can't hide her feelings!!!

No better than a four year old in a candy store.

I liked it on Stargate last week, when the girl says "Stop procrastinating and just ask me on a date, because I'll probably say yes."

Where did all the testicles go?

You understand that this Sarah person is not a woman, but a cartoon at the most and a story device at the least? Sarah has no reason to be in this story unless she is in love with Chuck to add to the dramatic tension and our delight.

O, and considering Yvonne wakes up every monring and has to speak with an Australian accent, can we just pity her a little, rather than assuming that she's a terrible actress like some people have been?

I'm surprised at all the doubt about the feelings between Sarah and Chuck. This is not a show about complicated emotions. This is a goofy action-hero show that does old-fashioned comic book stories much better than Heroes. Chuck and Sarah are Clark and Lois, Peter & Mary Jane, David & Maddie, etc. The complications come from outside the relationship, might hinder or completely prevent it, but cannot change the underlying fact that boy and girl belong together.

The charm in this show doesn't come from trying to figure out if Chuck and Sarah are right for each other. I think it's meant to be blatantly obvious that they are the perfect match. The charm comes from them learning that it is so, as well as living through all the obstacles in the way.

The premise isn't complicated. If it weren't for the great writing and acting, this show would be SO stupid. Almost every week I know exactly how the spy plot will play out. But the way it's written and acted, I completely don't care, because I have so much fun going for the ride. :techman:

Oh, I love her natural accent and I think she does a wonderful job playing the part
My doubts are not as to her acting, it's as to what a real CIA agents agenda would be

I come from the country next door to Oz, it's part of my DNA to be rude to them, but apart from that 5 second clip of her needing to use the loo a couple weeks back I'm not at all familiar with the honest sounds coming out of her mouth.

Well, her American accent is phenomenal, to the point where her Australian accent sounds really awkard to me.

as long as i get to discuss the shower scene, and the scene in the pilot when she was in her undies :D

Maybe they are there... maybe it's simple non-romantic affection
Then how do explain her obvious jealousy anytime Chuck finds a different girl?
It is jealousy or annoyance at Chuck being a dolt again and trusting anyone with boobs who smiles at him ;)
I would wager a bit of both.

You can see it in her FACE!

Granted, this would require that you actually be looking at her face, and I understand there are other parts of her most of us would probably rather be looking at.

Both. And I don't doubt that she likes him... And I don't doubt that she cares about him
But it is possible to love and care for someone in a non-sexual way
