Glad to see you guys enjoyed this ep. :) I watched it about a week ago and I absolutely loved it. But then, I loved all of S1 as well. :D I definitely plan to re-watch the ep before the second one airs.

I thought that the biggest laugh was that the new Intersect was a Macintosh Classic.

After 20 years, someone actually wrote a BIG virus for a Mac.

I thought it was great. I was disappointed that they seem to have killed off Tony Todd's character. Why couldn't it have been the female superior?

I liked it. Seem a few of the first season eps of Chuck on Hulu and gave it a shot. Some of the homages are hilarious.

Actually, that was my biggest problem with the episode. I know it's a fantasy, but they decide to kill Chuck before they have the new computer up and running?

Otherwise, pretty good.

I like the woman general, she seems more eeevil. :D And I gotta admit, when I see Tony Todd in something, he's always Tony Todd more than whatever role he's playing. That's the risk of being an over-exposed character actor. Even Adam Baldwin is reaching that point - I can buy him as Casey here but every once in a while, I can't help thinking of Jayne...

I knew a girl named Johna. I thought it was dumb.

Anyway, yeah, Tony Todd is always Tony Todd, no matter what role he's playing.

I actually marathoned Chuck Season 1 and Firefly back-to-back, and I had the reverse reaction to Temis. I kept wondering why Casey was being so dumb.

And why he no longer reveres (or apparently has even heard of) Ronald Reagan. :wtf:

...to be fair, Jayne and Casey are pretty distinct characters. Their love of weaponry is the thing they most have in common.

Very true. But Adam Baldwin just has a very distinctive voice.

You think that's bad? I just rewatched Full Metal Jacket last night. I was all "Casey, you foul-mouthed racist S.O.B. Why should YOU get to bed the hooker first?"

What's the chances of of Tony coming back as a Bionic man giving the nod to that semi spy thingy from the 70s... Or more likely, they have to give him a "new face" because of all the damage? Hell, why not a new ethnicity which would be hilarious in a doctor who sort of way.

Although interimly how should be replaced by another tiny white woman.

I think Tony Todd should return with a small scar on his face and make no mention of how he survived the explosion.

In the horrible last episode of Enterprise, when the camera first focussed on Archer, there was a quirk in the angle or I had sleep in my eye and I reacted alarmedly to a misseeing... I thought Archer had lost an ARM...

Then again considering we're talking about the Candyman here, it would be a fucking liberty to replace one of his hands with a hook wouldn't it no matter the spike in the ratings or the increase in Candyman DVD purchase/rentals?

I ended up rewatching this earlier today. Man I love this show. So many awesome moments, from Casey getting excited about the possibility of Jeff dying to "I was going for imposing" (twice!) and "Is that a Crown Victoria?". :D Then there was the whole thunderdome thingy, or and the Call of Duty references including Chuck's awesome bluff when he called Morgan.
